One of the city’s most popular attractions, the main weekend of the festival will be held over 22 & 23 June, and promises a living history extravaganza for all to enjoy. 3,000 years and more of Peterborough’s past will be brought to life, with displays by local history societies, a period market, falconry, and this year’s themed displays, focusing on inventions and the history of science. There will also be hundreds of costumed re-enactors, from Roman soldiers through to wartime airmen, in living history displays around the historic Cathedral Precincts.
