In fact this cost amounts to £30.00 per cub or beaver per year & is included in your childs subs fee's.
Each year a Scouting association census is taken on 31st January for all adult and child members of our group.
The "capitation" due is paid per head for all children and adults in the Group at that time.
The capitation fee is factored into the subs.
The Scout Association is currently reviewing how the membership fee is applied, we will advise accordingly of any changes.
- We endeavour to run at the lowest cost possible whilst improving & maintaining the building for wider community use.
- Subs are payable either weekly, fortnightly, or quarterly.
- We also accept cash (in an envelope with your childs name & surname on), & cheques.
- Our subs are amongst the lowest in the district (last time we checked).
The standing order amount is currently set at: £6.25 per month for Beavers and £6.25 per month for Cubs.
Standing Order forms are on the web site in the "forms" section (pending viewing by committee, & were ready for approval as of Feb 2013 & sadly are still not validated). Eventually this should be a print out & sign document making the option that bit easier for busy parents & carers. If you have on-line banking you can set these up yourself.
Please note subs are payable even when a child misses a week or more, and no refunds are given if & when a child leaves / is removed from our Scout Group.
