Opened on the 8th August 2009, this new splash park is the central element in an ambitious £300,000 plan to regenerate Bretton Park in Peterborough. The eco-friendly facility has been funded by the city council through the community reprovision programme. The new facility replaces a dated and vandal-blighted paddling pool and consists of 20 water features set within 500m2 of brightly coloured, soft rubber safety surfacing.
