Meeting times
We are a friendly group with our own HQ (the old Ramsey fire station) access to which is graciously rented to us by the De Ramsey estate.(This saves us a lot of money compared to other groups who have to rent their hall's but on the other side of the coin we are responsible for the ongoing maintainence).
Our pro-active "Mixed" Beavers & Cubs

Currently we send our Cubs "up" to nearby Upwood & bury Scout troop upon reaching the correct age.
There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, exploring, archery, shooting and kayaking. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.
Even if you don't know any of the others when you start you'll soon have lots of new friends.

Based near* both the "Hawk" Bar & The Three Horseshoes public house, road access is narrow, but parking is available less than 100 metres away around the green (or adjacent to the church green), also beside the beautiful " Saint Thomas A Beckett C. of E. church, this is also a great nearby play & practise area for our games & pack outdoor session activities.
Please bear in mind this is both a business & residential area, so park considerately & safely for drop off & collection.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK RIGHT OUTSIDE THE SCOUT HALL, AS IT BLOCKS ACCESS & PRESENTS A HAZARD TO BOTH LOCALS & OUR CHILDREN
(we like our neighbours).
The Webmaster can particularly recommend the "Three Horseshoes" (opposite)
should you wish to stay around (especially whilst your child is new & settling in ) ..Good ales, soft drinks, snacks & pleasant general environment.
*Please note the Google map marker is a general area marker
