Video How to's...
As we find useful info that may have written instruction elsewhere we'll pop it up here...
Cubs & Beavers, these videos are all demonstrated by experts, IF you want to try to learn an outdoor skill ask your parent or carer to help you, sit down together & watch these videos then you might be able to practise together, these are skills you can learn if you are thinking of moving up to scouts when you are older!
The videos we will put up are the same sort of skills that Baden Powell taught nearly 100 years ago!
when you are out camping these sorts of skills are great to know & are fun skills to be proud of.
ALWAYS have the correct tools,
ALWAYS have a first aid kit ready, just in case!
ALWAYS have an adult helping you (never try these skills on your own)
ALWAYS CONCENTRATE & TAKE YOUR TIME TO LEARN PROPERLY & PRACTISE YOUR NEW SKILL (WITH AN ADULT HELPING).
We teach, demonstrate & supervise these types of skills to those attending camps such as Copley (our local centre).
