The weather stayed dry (just about) & the sun was seen for a few minutes making for a comfortable event, Akela Judith manned the cooking griddle & served up bacon butties & sausage sandwiches to hungry players & people who came over to participate or simply cheer the players on.
The event nearly didn't go ahead due to lack of organisation from county, (which would have been a shame as everyone clearly had alot of fun) & was a very last minute (almost literally) affair very ably held together by Dale (Baloo) & Akela Judith!
The results? well we came a very respectable third place, & a good time was had by all, ..fair play & plenty of passing!
Our hot food raised a very respectable £93 (TBC) ..which will go towards our refurbishment costs.
Thank you to those who turned out, & participate, (& even helped us pack away & tidy the public area afterwards).
